Refund and Returns Policy – Cameramelos

At Cameramelos, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, we offer a straightforward and transparent return and refund process. Please read the following policy carefully to understand your rights and the process for returning products and requesting refunds.


1. Return Eligibility

You can return most products purchased from Cameramelos within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:

  • Condition: The product must be in new, unused, and resalable condition. It should include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and any other materials that came with the item.
  • Exceptions: Certain items are non-returnable for health and safety reasons, or if they are used, opened, or damaged (e.g., opened software, digital downloads, or memory cards).
  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date you received the product. We reserve the right to refuse returns after this period.

If your product has been opened or used, please contact our customer service team for further instructions. We may still accept the return depending on the circumstances.


2. How to Return a Product

To begin the return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at info@cameramelos.com or call us at (703) 771-3241 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This will help us identify your order and expedite the return process.

  2. Package the Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Be sure to include any accessories, manuals, and paperwork that were included with the product.

  3. Shipping the Item: Once you have your RMA number, ship the item back to us at the address provided by our customer service team. The return shipping costs are your responsibility, except in the case of defective or incorrect items (details below).

  4. Return Processing: Once we receive the returned product and verify its condition, we will process your refund or exchange. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed.


3. Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will issue a refund to the original payment method. The refund will be processed within 7-10 business days after the returned item is received and approved.

  • Shipping Fees: Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, except if the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective item, incorrect product).

  • Restocking Fees: In some cases, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply if the returned product is not in its original, resalable condition (e.g., missing accessories, damaged packaging).

  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used during purchase. If you paid via credit card, your credit card company may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement.


4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us immediately within 7 days of receiving the item. We will provide a prepaid return label for you to send the product back at no cost. Once we receive the returned product and verify the issue, we will offer you a full refund or exchange.

If the product is found to be defective or damaged due to our error, you will receive a full refund, including shipping costs.


5. Exchanges

If you would prefer to exchange an item rather than request a refund, please contact our customer service team. We will guide you through the exchange process and assist you in selecting the correct product. The process for exchanges is similar to that of returns, and any price differences (e.g., if the new item costs more or less) will be handled accordingly.


6. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange. These include:

  • Opened or used software, memory cards, and digital downloads
  • Custom-built or special-order products
  • Gift cards

7. Canceling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders can typically be canceled if they have not yet been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled and must be returned once it is received.


8. Shipping Fees for Returns

  • If the return is due to a defect, incorrect product, or error on our part, we will provide a prepaid return label for you.
  • For all other returns, the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns to ensure that the product reaches us safely. Cameramelos is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
